Driver Pascal Berube sent Sam Sergi trainee Revenue Agent to the top and held command through the mile to best odds-on favourite Capteur De Reve in the $8,600 Preferred Handicap Trot at Rideau Carleton Raceway on Sunday, Oct. 20.

Berube cleared command from post 6 with the 11-year-old Revenue S gelding before a :27.3 first quarter. Capteur De Reve tucked into third passing the stands first time and stayed at the cones past a :57.2 half.

Stormont Royalty ventured first over moving to the backstretch and flushed cover from Capteur De Reve heading to three-quarters, timed in 1:26.2. Capteur De Reve continued to pursue Revenue Agent through the stretch and slimmed his lead heading to the wire but finished a neck shy of victory in a 1:56.4 mile. Stormont Royalty took third.

Owned by Michael and Sam Sergi, Revenue Agent won his ninth race from 28 starts this season and his 38th from 155 overall, earning $426,815. He paid $11.50 to win.

Ufdragons Rocket jetted from a pocket trip past tiring leaders to take the $8,600 Preferred Pace in 1:53.3.

Avatar J pushed for the front from the pylon post while Silverado attempted to clear control from post 3. Ufdragons Rocket raced third as the pair battled through fractions of :27.1, :55.2 and 1:24.3. The dueling leaders faltered in the stretch as Ufdragons Rocket found a seam to dash through and take command moving to the finish. D Gs De Vito, the 8-5 favourite, finished a half-length behind in second with Canadian Edition taking third.

Also driven by Pascal Berube, Ufdragons Rocket won his fifth race from 28 starts this season and his 60th from 289 overall, earning $464,144. Yves Tessier conditions the 10-year-old Dragon Again gelding for owner Francois Morin who paid $7.00 to win.
