In a show of appreciation for all the support Barona Lilac has received, Cheering For Charity will be offering "second chance" draws on Sunday at Truro Raceway to win betting vouchers for those who come to the track to watch the Atlantic Breeders Crown action from Charlottetown.
The "second chance" draws will be conducted using non-winning tickets.
Barona Lilac will race in the $3,000 Atlantic Breeders Crown Open Mares Pace, scheduled as the 10th race on the Charlottetown program. She has drawn post seven with trainer Darren Crowe listed to drive. First race post time is 1 p.m.
"We encourage everyone who can't make it to Charlottetown to cheer 'Lilac' on, to head to Truro Raceway to show your support," said Robyn Crowe.
