Lets Get Serious N found room to squeeze by at the rail to post a 13-1 surprise in the $35,000 Invitational Trot on Friday at the Meadowlands Racetrack

With John Campbell in the bike, the eight-year-old son of Sondon shot off the gate from Post 5, but Morguns Sweetheart (George Brennan) settled on top from the far outside by the first quarter in :28.1.

Michaelrowyourboat (Jimmy Smith) moved three-wide around the parked Diana Hall (Antonino Buttitta) with Beach Nut Brand (Eric Goodell) following en route to the half in :56.2, but the pacesetter charged on through three-quarters in 1:26.

Meanwhile, Lets Get Serious N enjoyed the perfect pocket trip finding room at the inside down the stretch. He sprinted home for the two-length win in 1:55.1.

Morguns Sweetheart stayed for second while Beach Nut Brand (Eric Goodell) grabbed the show spot.

The Virgil Morgan trained gelding scored his second win in three starts this year. His 23rd career victory lifted his bankroll to $257,269 for owner Joseph Muscara who resides in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania.

For the third time in the last six nights the Pick 4 paid more than $10,000 for a $1 wager on Friday night.

Friday's Pick 4 paid $11,061 for the 10-5-8-5 combination. Two days earlier, the Pick 4 paid $17,054 and last Friday the payoff was $16,035.

The Pick 4 is offered on races six through nine every racing night at the Meadowlands. The wager has a $50,000 guaranteed pool on Saturdays and a $25,000 guaranteed pool on all other race days.

Through the first 16 nights of racing in 2009, the average Pick 4 payoff has been $4,232, with 9 of the 16 payoffs being more than $1,000.
