Lets Wait And See and driver Colin Kelly closed out Flamboro Downs' harness racing program on Sunday night (January 14) with a front-stepping victory in the $8,500 Preferred 3 Pace for trainer Scott Friend.

In "Take Two" of the featured finale after Senior K broke stride and caused interference to the trailing tier starter Bali prompting a starter's recall, 3-2 favourite Lets Wait And See cleared Senior Market as they headed into the backstretch during a :28.1 quarter. HP Patriote rushed up on the next turn to confront Lets Wait And See on the way to the :57.3 half, but the popular pacesetter rebuffed his rival by the 1:26.2 third quarter mark and cruised under the wire in 1:55.2, two lengths ahead of Senior Market for his 20th career win. Onyx V A followed in third.

Lets Wait And See, who paid $5 to win, is coming off a 2017 campaign in which he won nine of 41 starts and banked just over $61,000 in purses. Perry Hart owns the seven-year-old Shadow Play gelding.
