S-Bred Bill Passes In New Jersey

It has been reported that on Monday, January 13, the New Jersey Assembly passed bill A3489/S2540.

The bill had previously been conditionally vetoed.

Politicker NJ has reported that the bill passed unanimously on Monday.

The bill will allow monies earmarked for standardbred purses to be used for the standardbred horse racing and breeding industry in the state.

The article states that the bill will allow New Jersey’s Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association and the permitholder to agree on the use of the monies.
