This Sunday, Oxer Stables will be hosting a horse show that will also feature standardbred horses. During lunchtime the heavily anticipated mascot race between Grand River's Grandy the Grey and Standardbred Canada's Willie Win will take place.
Standardbred Canada's Willie Win will be looking to break his maiden before he attempts to capture the second running of the Xtreme mascot race in August at Georgian Downs.
The horse show kicks off this Sunday, July 6 at 9:00 a.m. and will run until approximately 4:00 p.m.
Admission and parking is free and there will also be a trade show and a caterer. Oxer Stables is located at 6250 Walkers Line, about eight minutes southeast of Mohawk Racetrack.
