OHHA Election Update

Nomination forms for the 2008 OHHA Board of Directors election were mailed to the members in districts 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 10 in the middle of September with nominations due back on October 14, 2008.

Following are the results:

District 3
One position: incumbent Doug Hie stood for re-election, no other nominations received;
Hie acclaimed for two years.

District 4
Two positions: incumbent Gerry Lamoureux stood for re-election, Mario Rivest was
nominated, no other nominations received; both acclaimed for two years.

District 5
Two positions: incumbents Kent Baker and Dave Byron stood for re-election, no other
nominations received; both acclaimed for two years.

District 7
One position: incumbent Jim Whelan stood for re-election, no additional nominations
received; Whelan acclaimed for two years.

District 8
One position: Jody Jamieson was nominated, no other nominations received; Jamieson
acclaimed for two years.

District 10
Two positions: incumbents Bill Bannon and Colleen Belore stood for re-election, no other
nominations received; both acclaimed for two years.

All positions have been filled as per OHHA’s Bylaw No. 3, Article 8 (8.08) and accordingly an election for the OHHA Board of Directors for 2009 will not be required.
