No Gold Elims Needed In Windsor

The entrants for the final OSS Gold Series event of the season, which was scheduled to have eliminations this Tuesday evening at Windsor Raceway, will go directly to the final as result of just seven names being dropped in the entry box.

The OSS rules state that if there are not more horses entered in the elimination than can compete in the final, the elimination will be cancelled and all horses will be considered declared directly into the final to be held the following week.

Therefore, the Gold elimination for three year-old colt pacers scheduled for October 21 at Windsor Raceway is cancelled. The $40,000 purse for the Gold elimination, as well as the $20,000 purse for the consolation, will be added to the regular purse for the final, making it a total Gold final purse of $180,000.

The Gold final will be held on Tuesday, October 28 as scheduled and the post positions will be available on Tuesday, October 21, the day the final would normally have been drawn.

Here are the entrants in alphabetical order:

Amillionpennies
Deuce Seelster
Keystone Horatio
Lucky Man
Roman Rocks
The Mohegan Pan
