The final preliminary event for Kawartha Downs' Kawartha Classic Pacing Series was contested on Tuesday, October 7. The class didn't fill for next Tuesday (October 14), so the final standings have been determined heading into the $50,000 final, scheduled for Saturday October 25.
The series had been taking place since January, and the top 9 point earners are eligible for the $50,000 final. There will also be one also-eligible for the event. In the event of ties, horses will be drawn by lot.
To be eligible for the final, all horses must be declared on Wednesday, October 22 by 10:00 a.m.
