Kawartha Downs in Fraserville, ON has announced a pair of three-week racing series that will take place in the month of October.
The conditions of the events appear below.
"The Trick or Treat" Trotting Series
- For $6,000 Claiming Trotters
- There will be 2 legs and a final
- Entry fee is $100 (payable on Saturday, October 11, 2008)
- 1st Leg - Oct 11 (purse $5,500 per division)
- 2nd Leg - Oct 18 (purse $6,500 per division)
- Final - Oct 25 (purse $10,000 added)
- Horses must compete in the 1st leg to be eligible for the final
- There will be "NO" Claims in the final
"The Frisky Fillies" Pacing Series
- For 2 & 3-year-old fillies that are non-winners of $10,000 lifetime as of October 8, 2008
- No Allowances
- There will be two legs and a final
- Entry fee is $100 (payable on October 14, 2008)
- 1st Leg - Oct 14 (purse $8,000 per division)
- 2nd Leg - Oct 21 (purse $9,000 per division)
- Final - Oct 28 - (purse $15,000 added)
- Horses must compete in the first leg to be eligible for the final
