Tickets are now on sale for the Standardbred Breeders of Ontario Association’s 2009 Awards Banquet, which will be held Saturday, January 17 at the Delta Hotel in Guelph, ON.
The evening will include an information seminar on the new Ontario Resident Mare Program within the Horse Improvement Program and a discussion on the new testing practices and standards for steroids.
This Seminar will commence at 5:00 p.m. The scheduled speakers are John Blakney and Wendy Hoogeveen from the ORC as well as veterinarian Dr. Mike Weber.
The cocktail reception begins at 6:00 p.m followed by the Awards Dinner at 7:00 p.m. The annual Stallion and Silent Auction will take place throughtout the evening.
Performing at this year's SBOA Awards Banquet will be the Charles Street Band.
