Harness Racing's Top Ten Money Earning Fillies & Mares

The theme for International Women's Day 2016 is 'Pledge for Parity'. The horses that comprise the 10 richest fillies and mares in harness racing history have exceeded aspirations for on-track parity with their male counterparts and shattered records across the globe.

In addition to winning divisional honours a combined 44 times, these distaffers have a total of six Horse of the Year titles between them. The list of the top 10 money earning mares in harness racing history is more impressive when considering some of the sensational horses (below) that did not make the cut.
